An exciting concert is in the works with three local schools and the Holland Jazz Band under the direction of Brian Coyle, Professor of Jazz Studies at Hope Collage. The concert will include bands from Holland High, Holland Christian High and West Ottawa as well as the Holland Jazz Band. Each group will accompany a soloist from the holland Jazz Band. Tickets will be $5.00 and available close to the concert.

The halls were filled with the great sounds of the HPS Jazz Band playing holiday favorites at Holland High School during the 8th grade lunch hour. Students were coming out of the rooms with teachers to enjoy the refine grooves of holiday favorites. The concert only lasted 30 minutes but it was enough to un-miser the scroogiest of all students and teachers and leave them with a smile and a vibe in their step. So ho-bebop- ho-ho y’all! and happy new year!
